The Lagos State Government and Federal Government, on Thursday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Transfer of Epe General Hospital to the Federal Government.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, on his X page, said the MoU was signed at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu signed on behalf of Lagos State Government while the Minister of State for Heath, Dr Tunji Alausa, signed on behalf of Federal Government.

- FMC, Epe will be enhanced by providing specialised care Paediatric care including:
- Paediatric care including Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Medical ICU
- Advanced Surgical care including Open heart surgeries
- Advanced Obstetric and Gynaecological services for high risk pregnancies and gynae cases
- State of the Art Emergency and Trauma centre
- Nephrology services including Dialysis and Kidney transplant
- Radiological services including CAT scan and MRI services
- Orthopaedic care including spinal procedures
- Burns and Plastic services.
- A site has been chosen as the site for the Federal College of Complementary and
Alternative Medicine (FEDCAM). This is to take advantage of the new Federal Medical Centre, Epe where students from FEDCAM will have their clinical posting.
